‘Wave of the day’ is inspired by a reference image of me surfing in my small town. Though to add a mystical feel to it, i changed the location and colours, creating a deep blue and a feeling of being far out from the shore. This piece is about getting that one wave, where you reminisce about it for the next couple of days. You get that feeling that keeps you craving for another surf and another wave like that.
The single Hibiscus flower represents that you are never alone, whether its an angel or a friendly spirit looking over you, that is up to your interpretation.
This piece looks and holds best in a frame, to be kept safe overtime.
